Great Trail for Off-Leash Dog Walking
This trail allows dogs to be off leash if they are wearing a Voice and Sight Tag, which is part of the City of Boulder OSMP dog program (see explanatory photos).

In practice, many visitors hike with dogs, and it is common for friendly off-leash dogs to approach as you walk along the trail.
Under OSMP rules, dogs may be off leash only with a valid Voice & Sight Tag, and owners are required to carry out all dog waste.
Trail Conditions
The trail is mostly flat with very little elevation change, making it easy and comfortable to walk.

There is a small creek along the way, and near one of the bridges you can often see dogs cooling off and playing in the water.
